A lot of them do sound like that but they shouldn't! Mine now doesn't make the noise and it sounds normal - all you I can now hear is the injectors. I'll post a video of what it sounds like now tomorrow. I'm pretty sure Renault know exactly what the problem is... I'd advise taking it to the...

Can anyone let me know if I need to take my wheels off to remove the centre caps., or can this be done with them still on the car? Need to remove them to paint them so they match my new wheels. Wheels they're on are the "standard" Clio 200 ones. Thanks

When I found mine was making a noise, it was your post I found on 200.net and it sounded exactly the same. Just didn't want to post the vid on your thread and spam it. I am going to go to Reno about this, I'll let you know how I get on. Be good to hear what your's sounds like!

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Fred - sorry to sound thick, but why would the tensioner be hitting its stops anyway? Definitely hasn't always made this noise, only started doing it recently.

I wanted the Speedlines on mine, but because it was already at the port they weren't able to do it. Seats they can change apparently, but wheels are an option that have to be fitted from the factory!
