I think I had the problem you are having when they released the update. If you do a search for instructions on how to verify your local cache it can fix it, but short version is; go to game library in steam right click FM2012, select properties select local files, click verify integrity of game...

08456 50 50 50 is the Digital UK helpline number if you are still having problems. It will depend on which station you're actually getting signal from as to what frequency the channels are now on.

try retuning, your area finished this stage yesterday just before 1300 so you should be able to still get them

it would have been blurry for a reason yesterday assuming you are both in birmingham. the station in your area started switchover yesterday.

iirc it branches off a pipe from the inlet manifold

check the afm as they're known for being a bit fragile (the element inside them breaks) also check that the vac pipe to the turbo ecu (the one that came out from behind the centre of the dash on the ovlov) also if you can lay hands on a spare pair of ECU's it may be worth trying to swap them...
