Hello, could anybody please tell me if clio 172 dampers are the same lengh as smaller engined clios? Having problems with 1 damper and was wandering if i could replace it with one from a scrap yard but more than likely not going to be a sport, i will use my springs so it will only be the damper...

Yesterday i replaced my springs for lowered eibach springs, after taking my 'original' springs off i noticed that 1 spring was around 2 inches shorter than the other, i carried on putting the new springs on the 'original' dampers but since thne the car is knocking whilst turning the wheel, after...

We made sure they were twisted into the cups proply before we put the struts back in, will they fall into place if this is the case or do the struts need to cum back off and re do them again? Thankyou

Hello, i have lowered my car this morning using eibach progressive springs, aparantly it is 45mm front and 30mm back, just took it for a drive and noticed a knocking noise when turning the steeering wheel, on a past cat it was the drive shafts, coukd this be the case and is there any replacement...

Right ive removed scuttle panel and tried to clean the tubes out. Ran a load of water in the scuttle panel area and its now coming out from under the car so hopefully ive sorted the problem, just a case of waiting for csrpets to dry now and see if the problem returns, fingers crossed. Thanks mate, i filled the foot well with blue rag earlier this morning (under the carpet) just checked it on my lunch and it appears that the front of the footwell near the bulk head is dry and i also put a piece of blue rag under the heater vent and that too is dry, on inspection ive noticed...

Ive had a quick look at scuttle panel but it looks clear. I havnt had chance to remove it yet as im at work. Am i right in thinking that if it is the scuttle panel then it will be blocked alot further down so i wont be able to see it? Thankyou for all the help

Ok brill. Was the water dripping from under the dash i presume or from the window onto the dash? Just so i know roughly where to look. How much did it cost you if you dont mind me asking. Thankyou
