What problems .................. nothing too serious i hope?

the reason for the delay is because the base manifold has been revised into one piece.

Have JMS sorted the problems they had with the first batch of manifolds?

The problem was with the injector pockets not sealing correctly on the jenvey MR23 in once case. We have resolved this with our own MR25 Manifold.

Old (left) New (right). You can see the weld on the old hand unit around the base of each of the injector pockets.

Wozza your very local :) I'm only in Sidcup.

Do you rate Hayes Engineering in Erith? How much did they charge for exhaust fitting if you don't mind me asking (PM if preferred)? Definitely somewhere for me to bear in mind for the future for power runs if the need arises. Top project, jealous of your low mileage, my BG's just ticked over 81,000!!

Hi Wick, im only up the road.

Hayes Engineering were spot on with fitting the exhaust as they needed to cut off the standard one due to being on one piece, the cost was around £60.00 and they supplied new clamps and cleaned the exhaust as it was second hand.

The power runs were charged at £50.00 a time and that included half a dozen runs, its a handy place to go as they are only around the corner from me compaired to the likes of surrey rolling road.

Im looking at getting my whiteline anti roll bar, gearbox linkage and uprated Dog bone mount fitted there in the near future.

Wazza* (sp lol )

Thanks for the info mate, Surrey Rolling road was the obvious choice for me as well but nice to know there is somewhere local. You BG has some of the exact choice mod's that I'll be going for in the near future. I'll give you a wave if we cross paths! Car looks brilliant :)

I had to make a few amendments the the oil catch tank as the inlet was in the wrong place, so i managed to get the feed tapped into the other side as this meant the pipework would be neater with the outlets plugged with some tidy Allen key bolts. I will just need to come up with a bracket to fix via the battery/Ecu rail

After around 5 weeks of waiting the anti roll bar turned up from Demon Tweeks, many thanks to Paul White for keeping me up to date on the progress :approve:

Lovely 182 dude, looks stealthy

How are you finding the car with the rs2 on?...or do you have to take your time until its mapped?

What do you think with whiteline rear arb fitted and the new brakes?

Hi Jimbo,

im just taking it easy with the manifold fitted, but i have notice it picks up well with manifold due to the low down torque. But once the car is mapped it should be an animal .

The car handles very well with the Whiteline ARB, before the rear end seemed to be a bit switchy but now that all gone. Sticks like s**t to a blanket :)

The car feels so much better to drive, this could be down to the fact my front brakes were Shagged.

  172 Cup
Cool , get some vids/pics up and some info after its mapped, enjoy mate i bet it will be alot of fun

  FULL FAT 182
Yes mate will get there about 2:45 ish, probably a good 3 1/2 hour drive for me though :dapprove:

Sam it's going to be 4 hours drive for me which is a bummer, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Ill probably see you down there , well you know what my car looks like now.

Looks great, can't wait for my RS2 to be fitted friday!

Ah shame mate I'm down JMS on Thursday getting the coilovers set up on the cup, along with my AST top mounts so hoping for the car to feel all connected again. After that my 3rd whiteline ARB will be making its way on there to finish the set up :)
