hi m8!, first thing ur gonna get on here is...... change those wheels there too big! I disagree m8 everyone on here has the same wheels! oz, f1's or clio sport alloys in diddy 15" ,16", although the cliosport look gd everyone has got them so pointless, put ur mark on it n phook everyone else

Welcome kid. Your 1st. car great, the wheels will slow it down a bit and use more fuel but if you like them what can I say. Good luck on your test.

17's are spot on for a non sport i wouldnt have it any other way, on the flip side i would never put 17's on a 182/172.

I had 17" Kei force 10's in gunmetal on my non sport they looked sick :)

Oh and Ryan just a heads up yoko paradas arent too good in the wet, take it from someone that learnt the hard way lol

hi

i reckon 17" wheels are ok on non sports but i don't think yours suit your car but each to his own if you like them keep them.

dont do any big mods to your car yet just make it look pretty using simple and cheap mods check out this thread if you haven't already.

Yoko parada's

Short for Yokohama Parada's a type of tyre made by yokohama.
I have Toyo's on my 1.2 they work just fine :)

Welcome along

P.s.... Expect loads of banter if you do something daft to your car, Im always getting ripped :p

Welcome. Fingers crossed for your test. Don't mod your car.

When you say Yokohama Parada's aren't good in the wet, I would ask a couple of things mate.
a) were tyres to blame 100%, or was there some driver error?
b) were you allowing for the wet in manner of your driving?
c) how much tread was on your tyres? ie 2year old rubber on limit, isn't going to perform same as 8mm of brand new rubber in any weather conditions, but particularly in wet.

If you answered, yes, yes, and above 4mm you were unlucky mate.
If you truthfully answered no and some error, no ,and down to indicator, then outcome in pics isn't suprising....

My mate has written off his Escort Cossie Xmas time, We all decided that 50% blame on the Paradas and 50% on the driver.
