Hair line crack on 3GS.

Same issue as mine, although mine had a big drop mark just to the left of that crack, although it didnt cause the crack near the charger port though as I dropped it in the first week, this crack didnt appear till months later.

They replaced mine, its worth a shot

cant see the pictures my gf's was replaced for a crack coming from the port at the bottom up the back cover.

TBH a new phone would be very nice!

Wouldn't put the Incipio case on it though, scratched the hell out of this one. Think iPod sock ftw.

What do you need to take with you for the swap? Everything or just the phone?

My cracks don't look as bad as that. They look like scratches but when you run a nail over them you can feel it catching. Hope I don't have issues changing it

I won't be installing an incipio on my next one either, not impressed with the scratches on my chrome

Yes definatetly, mine had the same crack only looked in a little worse condition on the rest of the phone, she changed mine, they can only say no

Took mine to the genius bar in Sheffield yesterday, looked at the cracks and then 10 mins later a nice shiny new 32gb white appeared with my name on it

I need to take mine in now, its also got dust under the screen aswell which fecks me off

Only thing is I need either 3.0 OS so I can unlock to use my 3 SIM or I need DEV Team to unlock the latest OS! and I need it to happen soon as my warranty runs out in Jan 2010

The unlock was released for 3.1.2 last week I'm sure!

I need to take my 3GS to be replaced as have two cracks coming from either side of the charging port.

blackra1n Jailbroken and Blacksn0w unlocked my 3G - the easiest JB and unlock ever! Last time it took me hours and hours but this was less than 5 mins

Will do a restore before I visit the Apple Store on Saturday when I will hopefully get a replacement (dust under screen and cracked back cover)!

This happened to mine near the charging point about an inch crack. Took it back on Saturday and the replaced it with a brand new phone with 5 days warranty left

I've got two cracks from either side of the charging point and also at volume control button.
Happened to my old 3G and was replaced quickly!

Mine has a few lol. On top of all it's other faults, it's not very sturdy imho! The cracks show up more on the white ones too

I think mine has been caused by my docking station. Mine has discoloured in one corner too like the clear coating has worn off!

Mine hasn't done the usualy hairline cracks from the charge port, but three small ones going outwards from the bottom screws.

Might bob in, when I look to upgrade in Jan. Get a brand spanker and sell it lol!
