  A special one.
This car makes me want a RB 182. [emoji33]

And if I was ever to buy another Clio then I'd buy the billies again without a second thought.

Thank you very much for the comments guys! Its nice to know you guys like it

Dont be fooled, this is no minter. Infact its had paint work done, has chips and scuffs all over, but im not too bothered. Im really enjoying this car for what it is. Its on 111k, 12yrs old. Needs a bit of work as most cars this age and mileage will. Im not chasing this car to keep it fresh, its more of a have fun and tinker car with well kept maintenance

Forgot to add, i fitted some Cree bulbs to the interior lights too. It gives off a nice bright white now

Oh and here's a few pics, just because i like them!

Got a link to the interior bulbs? Need to do mine.

Looks spot on as always, I'm definitely wanting some Silver 2118's for mine now and hopefully I can get it to sit like yours.

I can't remember, does yours run spacers? Mine are ET38, but unsure if the silver goes that wide. Thought they only come in ET43?

Not running spacers on my TD's at the minute but unsure on the offset as I can't see it anywhere on the wheels, need a proper look when they're next clean, must be pretty low though as they're quite flush with the rear arch.

TBF, I don't mind running spacers if I need to but I may just get a set of second hand ones that need refurbing and get them done in Silver if any come up.

Great updates buddy, this car just keeps on getting better  Those bulbs are a great little upgrade, amazing the difference between standard and now as the crisper white light is soo much better. More modern!

As for the sunstrip, one was on mine when I got it, fitted by the previous owner. Except this was window tint lol! I thought it looked ok when I first got the car but it didn't last long, wasn't really me either so out it came

Whats are you using to round of your edges of your horn bracket? Looks neat!

Still keeping the sunstrip for now. The other day it came into use with some low sun during driving. Admittedly it doesn't look as mature as without it, but i still kinda like it. Im going to persevere a little longer and if i still like it, i'll get another one and remove the windscreen rubbers when i fit it, so i can cut around the glass instead for a neater cut.

Took some pics outside a friend of works house.

Took it to work on saturday to do a few bits, plus @MrBlonde wanted to do a few bits on he's cup too.

First job was to change the sidelight bulbs. My crees were lovely and bright but 2 have blown. I had only 1 sidelight and 1 map light, the other sidelight and interior light had blown. Perhaps i got a bad batch? These arent as bight as the crees but they are still better than standard, plus they are still white. They look OE in the headlamps so they'll do for now.

With the new rainbow effect full beam bulbs

Next job was to clean the headlights. I don't have a machine polisher but wanted to do something as there was some heavy swirl marks on them and they looked dull in places. I used 1200, 1500, 2000 wet and dry with hot soapy water. Finished with G3 scratch remover and super resin polish.

Very pleased with how they've come out, even more so because they was done by hand.

Drivers side done, passenger side needed

How the bulbs look for colour match with the xenons lit.

Earlier before we went to work i bought some lower ball joints from GSF as they had 42% discount. My plan is to change suspension parts before the driveshafts are changed as then once its all done, i'll get it aligned and it shouldn't need anything else (suspension wise) done then.

Was a bit awkward getting the pinch bolts out but we got there.

Old ones

One thing i forgot to fit was the plastic shim that goes on the pinch part. Is it really needed?

Next up will be top mounts and track rod ends. May possibly buy inners, but definitely get outers.

Decided to clear up and call it then.

Another few pics of the cleaned headlights

Now you say the side light bulbs you initially got are rubbish!! I have just purchased some after your initial reccomendations :persevere: I will fit them and when or if they blow I will swap for the better ones, just keep some spares in the glove box.

Rainbow main beam? What's that all about? All this headlamp talk has reminded me that another weekend has passed and I've forgotten to adjust mine down again. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow, maybe I'll blind everyone for another week!
Looks good as always mate.

I had mtec's in my volvo that had the effect and seemed decent so i bought these as they looked the same but cheaper. Work well i must add, as i used them tonight :)

Thanks Paul.

Looks great. I don't normally like cars with white wheels but this looks cracking.

Cheers Dan. They are hard to keep clean but im loving the look of them against the RB.

Love the updates!

Love the pics Mark, you do seem to be spending lots of money on this car though :(

Been reading through your thread Dr Jekyll - I really love your car, the combination of the RB paintwork/white wheels/stance works so well - I particularly like that side profile photo with the moody sky-scape

You've obviously built up quite a knowledge base on these cars over time - & I've loved reading about the little touches/things that you done.
