Well known hairline crack on the 3g I had a brand new phone outta them a while back but mine was cracked 50% of the way up the back and nearly dropping off

the crack on mine wasn't visible without a magnifying glass - they still swapped it out.

Just found a small one on mine at the bottom where the charger connection is. Whats my chances or a replacement? Its 16 months old now.

Mine was 18months and they said its out of warrenty so now you will have to pay. Im just holding on until 4G now...

Mine has a crack by the headphone jack. It's only just about visable. I'll look at getting it replaced shortly.

Take it to the store. If it a known fault, which it is, I'd be very surprised if they don't replace it. Regardless of being over 12 months old.

Just wondering since ill be getting the new one and selling my 3GS 16gb. Is my 3GS worth maybe a little more since its an officially unlocked one compared to the pikey JB way?

Going to use my trusty N95 in the meantime

Lovely stuff, its always lived in a smartcase so is minty mint too. Ill take a screenshot of the unlock screen i get from itunes and get selling then.

btw those renders you linked to look good, really dont know about the white

It's going to have to do something special for me to replace my 3GS. Everything we know so far hasn't persuaded me.

It will have one thing that'll make people want it (as that's what Apple do, upgrade just enough), so I probably will. It'll have to be something like RFID chip so I can use it to pay for things and don't have to carry a wallet etc etc. Not just a front facing camera.

The speed and high res screen will be the best additions.

The iPad is soooo much faster than my 3GS.
