Wouldnt crank over at first, all fixed by replacing the three brown relays on the fuse box, but there is no power to the coil pack, and the fuel pump doesnt run unless i bridge the pins on the relay socket, the relay itself is fine. Not sure what the other big brown relay is for, or the purple...

Why steer away from the cups? As long as he can drive and don't car about aircon I dont see the prob tbh! edit to say, membership defo worth it, only paid site I use, and you get loads from it. It instantly saved me £50 on insurance and £5 on detailing stuff!
