See you this morning 10.25ish coming off the A2 and heading down Peartree Way. Was in a silver iveco with Office Team wrote all over it coming from Greenwich. Nice rims btw. Never noticed them the other night!
Cheers for the replies. I haven't done the rear discs yet. I'm still awaiting then to turn up so rules out the spacer. Like I said this only started happening just over a week ago so something decided to fail recently! As for loose plastic I did think the same but then it wouldn't be rubbing on...
Ok, well its been a while since I was stumped which issues on my Clio, after the past few months being a nightmare with my car, replaced a shed load of parts, no biggy, last week a new noise appeared, I originally thought it to be a rear bearing was on its way out, the noise was like a whiz or a...
I am a tad handy :rasp: In fact I spent a few hours today fixing my wiring under the seats to stop that annoying Stop and Airbag light, seems to be cured! Also gives me an excuse to get back that torque wrench I lent you way back when, need it to do my rear disks fairly soon..
So what you found...
Not sure if this could be any help to you?

You don't happen to have some wild animal living in your car setting off the alarm :rasp:
Hopefully it sorts out the issue, at least it might be one step closer to solving the issue! Good luck
Its a pretty easy job to do yourself, removing the brakes tbh.. Take a look here..

I pulled the pillers off the inside cut swapped and re-solderer the wires, I'm not actually sure where they run to tbh..
Thats why i suggested doing the above steps first to see if that will solve the issue before you start cutting wires etc..
Thats the harness that connects to the Autoleads Connetcs2 control box (That I mentioned above) for stalk controls, what you are looking at is a replacement lead without the actual Connect2 box
Just pinched this from a thread I found a year or so back..
I use to get this problems and I solved it by doing this.. but I also remember it was happening during really hot days, like it has been recently, perhaps it might be the reason for yours, seeing as now you have disarmed the sensors...
Not to sure on the display on the newer Ph2 Clio, I have a Connects2 stalk controller inside my Clio (2001 Ph1) and the display will illuminate and show temp and time and it also shows Renault but no station names etc.
PM Matt (MT Audio) he is the man to talk too, I have dealt with him a few...
Could you try sitting in your car switching the ignition key to the on position then off then on then off again, do this pretty quick, I think it needs to be done within 10 seconds (but it should only take you a few seconds) and make sure the doors are closed. Jump out and lock the car and it...
I believe the dephaser pully creates a whine when its getting old! Had the belts changed any time recently? New belts that have been retensioned can cause this if the dephaser pully was not changed at the same time..?
I had this exact issue on my Ph1, the car would not start, unless I pressed the button on the fob and turned the ignition over, if this is the case, I had to buy a new key
I believe the sensors are located where the door catch is, there are no obvious plunger type sensors around the door, look inside the latch and I would assume there would be some sort of swith
Ph1 is deeper then then non sport, if you look at a ph1 sport it is lower on the outer edges making it seen to curve downwards in the middle..
You can kinda see what I mean..
Ph1 all the way ;)
Its already been brought to light the update does jack for the antenna issue. Apple, its time you face the facts, lets see what tomorrows press conference brings..
Little update as I feel this thread has been neglected recently :rasp:
Anyways as in Terms of Jailbreak for the iPhone (all versions) /iPod Touch (all version) running Firmware 3.1.3 or below and iPad 3.2, the current and most popular Jailbreak out there at the moment is Spirit (Google will...
Re: 3G ios 4 update, WTF?
Revels has explained this countless times.
The iPhone 3G uses what is known as the 'Old Bootrom' which means that it does not require any authorization from Apple to upgrade or downgrade a firmware on your phone..
Make it easier for you..
