I posted this in the For Sale section here but stupid photobucket and probably my lack of knowledge I didn't get any pictures on

I fitted one years ago. Really easy if you can do a bit of DIY. Get the front up in the air enough to get a drill under, get a mate or two to offer it into position then pilot drill some holes, fire in some short self tappers, preferably black when you buy some and that's it.
Had this as well if anyone remembers them!!
As fast as the 5 at the time but half the cost to insure as not as desireable in the days of expensive hot hatch insurance.
You have answered your own question. Yes you need a additional adaptor to use the stalk control.

RUK chose not to bring it to the UK

Over a couple of days did a little paint job. Removed fuel rail guard and inlet manifold. Rubbed the lettering down, masked off and sprayed with halfords hi temp paint. Several costs then back together and another little sand of the letters. I was going to paint the letters but thought it was...
One end goes onto the original plugs from you Renault headunit and the other into the lead supplied with the Pioneer headunit. That is a lot of plugs to fit behind a small space so a tip is to remove the hazard switch panel for more access.
This is is the one I was recommended although turns out it didn't work on my 55 plate 182 as apparently Renault changed the canbus wiring on the last models...
I was as well, wanted to stay OEM but the Clio head unit is so dated with what's out there now. Love the MIXTRAX on Pioneer.
Absolute 80s and 90s on DAB is quality.
I also use the USB a lot with 32GB and a very easy search function I have nearly 100 albums if not more on a product the size of...
I recently fitted this. Pioneer DEH-x8600 dab. Display has many colour options, needed a additional lead for the stalk but still came out under £150. I think you will struggle to get a head unit with rear USB. I use a 32gb sandisk cruzer blade and it's half the length of most memory sticks so...
Yes mate it is,£99.99 from halfords and we'll pleased with it. Change colours to suit the dash although I haven't tweaked the brightness yet. I put the DAB antenna on the side window as apparently the sun reflective screens on the Clio can block the signal a bit.
Be warned when you turn it on...
I have a stick on aerial stuck on the rear side window. Reception is spot on and pick up loads of channels. Bizarrely I only lose signal when in reverse!
If you have the original windscreen it will be the polarised anti glare screen. It's recommended you don't stick the aerial there as...
Just get one of these

Far cheaper than the connects2 box. I can't see the advantage of the RCA box. Ultimately you just need the 3.5mm jack...
