New stereo issue

so i fitted an aftermarket kenwood stereo to my clio 182 and it has one lead that says "steering wheel controls" that currently isnt attached to anything. Hence why the steering wheel controls currently dont work. Any ideas? Maybe i need an adapter or something? There is a small green block of cables free which arent plugged into anything does it need to go in there somehow?

You have answered your own question. Yes you need a additional adaptor to use the stalk control.
