iOS5 Question

I just bought and downloaded an album from the iTunes store, and my iPhone instantly piped up and was like "Hey Munson, you don't have automatic downloads turned on mate. Switch it on and I'll download your new tunes for you now so you don't have to sync with your Macbook". I was all like "sweet, thanks for that". It even took me straight to the settings menu where you enable it.

Exactly. I could not imagine moving away from Apple now. It's quite scary what they have created. Skynet. It's gonna happen. The future is not set.

I didnt have my iPhone for like 2 weeks, and I had been using the damn thing for 3 years! For the 2 week duration I really felt like I had my limbs missing!

I really would struggle to survive without my iPhone and iPad.

Anyone know if we can turn AirPlay off? We have it on our Amp downstairs and it's really annoying, one of these days i'll end up clicking it by accident and it will boom down the house

Updated my 3GS last night to ios5. Seems good so far.

2 quick questions. Have we lost the zoom function in the camera?

Secondly, if I set up a new album in photos and ad something from my camera roll, why when I go to delete it from the camera roll it deletes it from the other album too? Probably a stupid question but can anyone clear it for me.

Yeah after a short while it will send as a text or if you press your finger on the message it will give you the option to send as a text instead.

Yes but it will only auto send as a text if it doesnt get delivered. and it will only allow you to send as a text once its been sent and not delivered by holding down on it and selecting send as text.

But the issue I have is that it gets 3/4 to sending and then freezes for f8ckig ages!!!! So it doesnt send as an iMessage, text or anything!

ANy ideas why sometimes the phone decides to send an iMessage to another iOS device but then others it reverts to text? Sometimes I;ve even had the message send and go blue, but when I check the thread later it's changed to green and now says sent as text. And yes, the recipient has iOS 5.

Sometimes it's just signal mate.

It may struggle to get a good enough signal for iMessage so fires it through as a text instead.

quick question regarding windows XP...

i have a laptop on vista thats doing my nut in because the power supply and battery is boogered not to mention its dead slo and i just hate it, but i have managed to get the wireless syncing working fine with the 4s and itunes.

i also have a desktop computer on XP that runs seamlessly with no issues with more space to put my music and programmes on etc. it isnt wirelessly enabled and doesnt currently have an internet connection.

can i get a wireless dongle for the desktop to connect it up tho the house router and have it running online and have the same compatibility if i put itunes on it with my phone as i currently dowith my laptop?

That will happen but it's going to take a few hours to get around I expect.

Try manually updating if you're in a rush to try and fix your battery.

You don't need iTunes anymore, Ads. All done over the air.

Nope, no different to just rebooting the phone, it's a 44mb update, just like applying a windows update really.

I think I read it reduces your message limit down to 1000 on the phone and if you have more the phone explodes
