Xenon Bulbs... how to tell if there blown?

Anyone know if you can tell if a xenon bulb is blown? do they rattle like a normal light household bulb when gone?

Just i've got about 5 and i've sold my 172, so wondered if anyone wanted them for a few quid, if I can tell if they work? as i understand there £80 from Renault!!

Also got the little black charger thing? which screws onto the top IIRC.

Not sure theres any way to test them other than trying them. Theres no filament as such in them as they're an arc light.

I don't know but make sure you dip them in white spirit before you test them.

yea you cant look or test for resistance. You will have to try them.

cleans them. finger prints on the bulb can damage it when its on

I can't test them, as dont have a clio anymore. As far as i know i have no reason to doubt them not working.

Anyone after one?
