I read its around 26 mpg...is this true?

I got a solid 30 MPG. All types of driving. Normally 130 miles to £20.

its not as bad as 26, i can get about 35 from mine if i take it nice and easy. Obviously if you have lead shoes then that'll go down a bit.

reckon its not short of the 172 really

i put the same value of petrol in both and got about the same miles

I get 29-32 on a consistent basis which is a mix of motorway driving and urban. The car is great when driving normal and you can really save the petrol is pretty thirsty when you push it.

My car also has a decat so im pretty happy.

I have seen some people say the 172s average mid 30's, this must be fairy like driving on a seemingless empty straight road.
