Will a 172 exhaust fit a 182?

I'm planning to get an OMP or Supersprint racing exhaust for 172 and i am wondering if it will fit on the 182.

Are the exhaust mounts very different or is it a simple job?

You will need a new ba ck bumper cos the 172 is hidden

it's for a race car so the bumper is no issue.

The point of fitting a 172 style exhaust is to save weight over the 182's.

I guess it might be worth having the whole thing custom made...

You can make anything fit with the right modification. Would most likely need cutting back a bit. But as you've said - Be better to get one custom made by a decent exhaust manufacturer.
