I have a brand new(newest model) Bosch wideband lambda sensor to fit to my car. Trouble is I've read in the little pamphlet you get with it that the sensor should be placed about 18" away from the turbo in a turbocharged car. The problem I have is the lambda boss has been welded about 6" away fom the turbo and it would be a pain to get it moved so I'm gonna ask a bit of a stupid question now and ask can I just use the boss there now? Or is it important to have it a set distance from the turbo?
