Whirring noise when turning wheel

The second I turn my wheel to th eleft or right a loud whirring type noise appears, I can feel it through the wheel as well. Doesn't matter if I[m stationary or moving, still there. It seems to change in tone as the engine revs and the car moves.

Any ideas? It's extremely noticable!

have you checked you power steering fluid? sounds like it may be low

theres should be a bottle in the bay that you fill up, but i dont know where it is as its been ages since i last looke at a clio 178/182 bay. it should tell you in a manual which is the power steering bottle, then get your self some power steering fluid to top it up.
