whining 172 cup

it seems to be when i turn the wheel on the spot it makes a really loud whining noise it did only do it when it was cold but it has started doing it when its warm now aswell any ideas what this might be? ive got my suspisions on it being the power steering pump if it is any ideas where it is? because i havnt got a clue :S lol

Have you checked th elevel is ok on your power steering fluid?

nah not yet is that the bottle at the back of the engine bay on the drivers side?

iirc its on the passenger side at the back on the right hand side of the water

check that, sounds like the aux belt though, seems noticeable when turning.

nah it was the fluid it was bone dry lol

keep an eye on the level to be sure it isn't leaking - potentially expensive problem if it is
