Presume its brake related?

The arm is just hanging down :S

So its position decides how much braking force is applied to the rear. So the higher the switch the more braking effort is sent to the back as it thinks the rear is under load.

So as the car is lowered it will always send more to the back (presuming it hadn't broken off) so I would be best to attach this somehow just below the bracket it sits on so as to fool it into thinking it is at a standard empty height?

May well be the adjuster for the lights, which is useless when you lower the car as it gets confused. Or at least my 172 one did.

I didnt know but have just been told it has seized and wont move, but lights are spot on so not worth changing i suppose.

Well will decide what to do if it fails an MOT.
