An off the shelf tyre that's good for road use aswell, or a dedicated track tyre for those conditions?

RainSport 2's seem to get good reviews to cover road and wet track days.
if for wet days only, invest in a set of dedicated track day wets.

I'm not sure hill climbing in mod pro you can use a dedicated wet tyre?

If your running in class 3B and not 1B and are in Mod Prod then you can use any tyre in list 1B page 196-198 in the MSA Blue Book, this includes slicks as long as it's log booked.

Ah awesome it's going onto a msa log book this year so I'm thinking slicks and a set of wets
