This is probably not in the right forum

I'm sure there's a guide somewhere on this, but I can't find it! I'm looking for a guide on what to look for when buying a 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 and 172/182!

Or if the Clio's are retivatly similar across the models then what would I be looking for on a Clio that's done 80k? Obviously MOT servicing etc. but I know with Clio's theres also a lot of things that go wrong in a Clio that's not easy to the eye when looking to buy a car.

like I should check it should have that or it's gonna be £200 in a weeks if you get what I mean. A clio with full service history full mot and warranty sounds fantastic but as I know from mine there's things that just go wrong commonly. I only really know about the crank sensor issue. What other common things should I be vary of and look for?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks in advance

If you're looking at the 172 or 182 then one of the most important thing is evidence of recent cambelt/dephaser change.
It's roughly 600 quid at a specialist to get it done, so is very important.

Other than that you can run the reg through the MOT history website and get a feel for the kinda life it's had.
