it's a RenaultSport clio for a start ;)

Flame read 172 is what you want.

Dont get a 182 Cup, theyre a bit pointless tbh.

182 with both Cup packs is what you want, then its just colour choice.

The baby blue is Racing Blue.

yup thats the ff thing.

Full fat 182's with cup packs have the best of both worlds, the upgraded suspension, wider track and leather, climate control, cruise control etc etc.

I personally opted for a Full fat 182 with cup packs as i fancied the half leather interior.

Agreed, the 172 cup was purpose built. Track use. The only reason they put indicators on it is to get you to the track lol

Thats exactly how i feel about standard 182's POINTLESS..
the only way to go is a CUP...
Forget the leather seats that look naff and start going stale
We dont need to buy the cup packs are's already have them.
Ur xenons i have already have on and i got that extra sprint over Y'all...

And dont listen about the 172 cup they fall to bits put together poorly
rattle none stop and the brakes dont stop in the rain

Racing Blue only colour failing that liquid yellow..

You dont have xenons unless youve added them yourself. The Cup interior is awful.

A 172 Cup is a FAR superior car to the 182 Cup. Its a half arsed effort and not really worth losing the comforts for no extra gain in performance.

Also, if it has to be the 182 Cup, then its Inferno or Racing Blue. Not Liquid Yellow.

still..

first he says the 172 cup is tatty, falling apart and rattles. But yet he knows they all come from the same factory. :S

182 FF with cup packs is the all rounder to have.. Youl realise that when its time to sell yours on  ... We know all the RS variants have similiar pace and the difference depends on which driver has had a better s**t in the morning.

Well i had the 172 cup built shite..
so there built in the same factory which means what?
That one model cant be s**t and the other can...

Im being real if thats how i feel its how i feel
172 cup are bulit shite! and the 182 standard i felt was proper slow on takeoff
proper proper slow that and it was a little common

ok ok.

Back on track then -

Which car is best for you is all down to personal preference.

172 cup is ideal for someone who wants a more track focused car and can live without luxuries such as aircon and abs.

172 ff are a great buy at the minute, can be picked up for £4.5k there abouts. Pretty much regarded as the slowest of the 1*2 range, but day to day driving youll never notice.

182 cup regarded by most as a let down to the cup varient after how raw the 172 cup was. Car was built by renault to be a more affordable hot hatch for people on lower budgets. the 182 cup had standard aircon, abs, traction control but not sure if it had cruise control.

182 with cup packs in my opinion is the best all round package. Comes with the wider track and uprated suspension from the cup models as well as half leather, climate control and numerous other toys.

182 trophy...which im suprised no ones mentioned yet. the undesputed daddy of 182's if you want a car which is a weapon on a track but still useable day to day then this is the car for you. Although it does command a premium over a standard 182.

And if you have some decent cash scrap them all together
and buy a megane cup or a 197...

But its all down to yourself what you prefer

PMSL........ deluded!!!! You really think they are built any differently one car to another??? They are all within a few tenths of each other speedwise.

IMO, get the one you want for looks then build it up with the bits you want to make it go how you want. Thinks like suspension, wheels and seats are very easy to change so if you can get a better condition shell and engine that lacks a couple of bits you want, it's got to be the common sense way to go :)

So many people change half the car anyway that it begins to make next to no difference what you started with

We got ourselves another keyboard warrior!! Too cheap to pay for full fat, and cant even afford the £5 to become a member! Big enough to critise all tho....

Wait til they come to sell that cup on the open market, then you'll see who made the wrong decision, the interior alone is enough to not buy it.

oh here its is...

Chuck norris internet gangstas lolol

Move on mate... get over it like

Back to school tuesday, you can fight in the playground then, move along if you don't like our forum? Seems obvious.

Dont like our forum! heheheh your not in our little clio gang

Like i said i got a pm button message it if you got things to get off your chest
sure the rest of the people dont wanna read this on here going on

Constructive points is the key here. The guy wanted some opinions of which RS clio to go for.

I don't even own mine anymore, therefore I am not in the "gang" either.

Forums are there to offer help and guidance.

Ironically we have one thing in common, we both went for the lightweight version of our cars.

We all have our opinions, but saying that one model is significantly worse than another when they are fundamentally the same car built in the same place is way off.
