Vibration from front end of 172

  MK2 FRS/Mini Type R

Hi, Im new onto this forum therefore I dont know if this subject has been brought up before.

I have a mk2 172 sport.... when I accelerate hard in first, second and third gear the front end make an horific noise... sort of a vibration/knocking noise (not wheelspin) which really does sound un-healthy.... Im not sure if it has something to do with the engine mounts / bushes / suspension..

Has anyone come accross this before does anyone know of any cures??

thanks

Chris

isnt this the engine knocking problem talked about for the last few years, a design flaw isnt it ? how is it stopped and yes i think its the engine mounts as mine does it too.
