Vee in the lakes yesterday

  An orange one
Had a 200+ mile schlep down to Windermere yesterday, then headed back north using as little motorway as possible, and came across a simply epic road between Orton and Appleby right up on the moors.. I was in my element horking the Vee along, feeling the weight shuffle around over crests and exploiting the perfect visibility of the road ahead! One of the best drives I've ever had in the v6

Forgot to say, Windermere is the place to spot nice cars! In the space of 2 hours I saw...

Lotus Carlton
Ferrari 458 in white
New Maserati coupe (the track focused one with half cage etc)
R8 v8 coupe
R8 v10 spyder
Renault Avantime (epic)
Jaguar F type
Countless Focus RS

Clio did well though, was in a cafe having tea and people were taking pics as they walked past :)

Looks epic. How does it compare to the 1 series?

Completely chalk and cheese mate. The BM handles better, is more comfortable, refined, better on fuel, in a different league in terms of performance, has an epic sound system and I can do all this with 4 mates in the car.

The Clio is raw, sounds insane, rattles and can get twitchy when pushed, but I absolutely LOVE it! I predict it will be still parked in my garage long after the BM is replaced with something else :)
