... I've been offered by Vodafone to upgrade my Berry to the iPhone 4 early (only a little while left anyway) for £200.

£35 a month contract 18 months.

Is waiting till bloody June going to make that much of a difference?

Coincedently I was in the Apple shop in Glasgow yesterday, cracking shop.

The iPad 2 feels really really nice and definitely can't grumble at the price, instead of upgrading my older dell laptop I may get one. (In white )

Oh and my God the 17" MBP is fanboi Viagra!

I'd hold out for the 5 tbh. The 4 is a fantastic phone, but I only paid £199 on an 18 month contract at £35 a month for it a year ago on upgrade so they're not really offering you any special deal. The 5 will possibly cost more than £200 on release, even for upgrades, but you won't be buying the previous model.

I'm due an upgrade now, but waiting until the 5 comes out tbh (as per turbo bens instructions ). No point upgrading so close to a new release

They'll probably add the 18 month contract onto the end of yours. So if you have 2 months left then your contract would be 20 months!

So not really a deal imo

No I know about that trick mate they were adamAnt that wouldn't happen it would start from 18 months. I think I have another 30 days until my early upgrade dat which is still 60 days away from my contract ending.

So they are offering to upgrade me 90 DAYS early and no penalty for £200. So the guy said anyway.

Out of interest, I bought my 3G after release on a 35 quid a month contract and it was free. Now 35 quid a month contracts require you to buy the phone for 150+ quid. Any reason for the massive price hike?

Doesnt effect me really as I bought my 4 outright, but I can upgrade whenever I like now as my 3G contact is due for renewal.

What about going on Voda's £40 a month contract to get the iPhone 4 handset for free and then downgrade the contract to £35/30 after 9 months to save you a hundred odd quid?

I would wait till your in the 60 day upgrade bit or wait for iPhone 5
