Unknown bolt

So whilst changing my drive shaft I found this bolt sitting in the under tray

I was told that it's for the alt/inlet manifold but it looks like it is already there.

If that is not the correct place to be looking could someone please give me so advice.
I am slightly worried about starting/moving my car with such a long bolt missing from something.

I would say alternator bolt also. Have a look from the right hand side not the left. At the bottom hole on the alternator

Nah it's not an alternator bolt. That's an m8 bolt, goes into the inlet manifold from the bracket. Going front to rear as dan said in the other thread.

Should I be able to see it easily?

Also does it have enough room to just fall out?

Nah it doesn't come out easily. It's probably hidden by the loom/fuel lines.

Okay I can see it. Does it go in through the belt side or the other side?

Goes from the front towards the back of the engine.

Did really get a chance to look at this the other day so back on it today.
It's a 13mm bolt and the thread length is 85mm

Dan was it those bolts that you meant go from front to back?

I'm guessing there should be a bolt in that hole.
How do I go about getting it back In there if that is the location of my unknown bolt.

Above all of that. It's inline with the bolts that the fuel rail guard bolts to.
