Tracking Facebook log in locations

The wife's ipad was stolen last night and in changing all her passwords we've noticed it's been logged on in lexden, colchester. Was stolen from Chelmsford.

Not being a user of Facebook or an IT whizz kid how much information can be stored about log locations other than the iPads IP address? Can it give anything more accurate to pass to the police

This is right. Go to iCloud.com and click find my iPhone. Providing it's been connected to a network it will give you a location and you'll be able to remotely wipe it.
