track day wheels and tyres?

howdy all,

Question before i buy some alloys.

Im going for the euro look on the megane coupe and getting 16x8" 4x100 ET 35 with 195/45/16 tyres. Slightly stretched look.

Is there any track day regulations on what wheels and tyres i have before i buy them?

Only an 8" wide wheel? Why not make it a 9" wide wheel. Here's how.

Track day regulations should be the same as road rules. That tyres must be fitted to suitable wheels, as defined by the tyre manufacturers recommendations. And an 8" rim is wider than the recommended maximum of 7.5" for a 195/45x16 tyre.
