track day brakes

what should i start out with for the odd track day im going to be doing next year.
front/rear pads and better fluid, standard discs or upgrade those too??
dont want to be driving home with foooked brakes really.
got to fit a mk3 1.6.
any advice/links to the products you have in mind would be good.

think they do the mintex 1144 seem pretty popular upgrade for people on here.

just not sure if they are ok from cold etc and what fluid to use with them.

could i make upgrade 1*2 brakes fit??

Not sure about making the 182 brakes fit mate but I've used 1144's and there OK but I prefer DS2500's as there better IMHO on a day to day thingy.

Castrol Response 4.1 fluid or AP/Halfrauds Race 5.1 fluids are good and go for Brembo HC discs with Goodridge hoses if you can get them.

Carbone Lorraine can make pads up to fit, I'm sure of it.

cheers ill have a hunt round and see if i can brembo discs for my car and report back.......
