Timing sensor from B/B

  Clio 172 Cup, Eunos

Has anyone bought and fitted an advanced timing sensor from B/B?

Whats the difference, and are they any better than the original replacement one
?

If its the crank sensor (aka speed sensor): Dont think so!!!!

The only thing that those sensors do is misleading the ecu. By this it will adv the ignition in all sites.
You can adv your std crank sensor. I have and found out that its not that worth it.

Its better to have a good ecu remap.

btw, re-adjusting the crank sensor was allowed on the clio coupe (valver) racing.
Moving 2,65mm to the oposite way of the rotation of the crankshaft will advance 1º of the ignition.
Dont know about injection. :(

mmmm..interesting...just replacing some bits thats all and wondered if it was worth paying an extra tenner for...it wont fcuk my engine tho will it?

no but it wont do it any favours, also dont bother with a new one go down the scrappies and get one.

It will also alter the time of the fueling, how do you think the injection system knows when to squirt?
