ticking 182 engine??

drove for 50miles or so at 70mph, then through a bit of town and down a country road into a village, parked poutside my girlfriends and the engine was ticking on idle, and if a little bit of gas is put on, the ticking would speed up with revs..

drove home and it was all fine

started the engine up afterwork today and its ticking again..

any ideas??
its on 20.5k miles

arse.. why they started doing it all of a sudden??

used to have noisy tappey injectors on my peugeot/shitroen piece of shite. thought id got away from that - not f**king happy.. GRR!

will renault sort them under warranty?? its back in on 4th and 5th of jan as it is!

They may have a bit of crap in them making them noisey, try some fuel system cleaner, on half a tank not a full tank like they say, they dont need replacing just becaise they are noisy!

Got this on mine and have had since its first 6 miles lol.... Someone i think said it was a release valve that comes from the drivers side front arch. You can only really hear it from inside the car. Not too sure TBH

Told renault but they didnt have a clue and couldnt fix it which i guessed they would say....

ive heard some oils can make the 172/182 engines noise, not had an oil change recently have you?
