Ah well pass on my thanks, he disappeared before I ever thanked him for his help

him and Wayne were the one's who helped me alot in the early stages

hmmm I wonder what wayne's up to now, last thing I heard he was planning a rwd conversion into that mk1 shell he bought

i am unsure what you really want to know mate as these are FK Konigsport coilovers and will be totally different to your Gaz's
however as dan says it was pretty much done to get low as

excuse my poor english lol

I just wanted to know how much you are lowered on the front and on the rear to give such a beautiful look to your car.

My GAZ coilover will allow the car to be lowered from opto 60mm on the front and 50mm on the rear so I think it's a wide range and I can obtain the same look no ? what do you think ?

i am unsure on the actual height in that picture, it was too low though and i had to raise it slightly as i had driveshaft issues

not surprising unfortunately....

well on the picture i'd say about -40mm on the front and -25mm on the rear.

so a little update for you.
the car has moved to its new home (not sure how long for)

today i took the car to a friends unit and started work, i had plans for the day and got them all done...
this is all the bits i removed today

you would of seen the stripping a page or so back so this is how the interior now is with the subframes from the seats removed also.

and now how the car sits in the corner of his unit,

it was a pain today so i am really going to need to encouragement to carry on, could be so easy to give up...lol..but then again i have had little to no trouble compared to some

yer general tidy up and a fair few tweaks mate
the cage is from caged in frome, they are top blokes and there workmanship is spot on, worth a look

dan - the rest of the dynamat will come off

hi jon, nah its off the road mate, need lots of time to make sure the bodykit and the colour are just right...
plus must get the 1 rear seat perfectly central otherwise the subs won't fit either side of it

so just spent another 8 hour day on the clio...no pictures because it wasn't that interesting

she is now sat in a very bare state with no interior at all, today i sat with a hammer and chisel and removed all the tar/sound deadening, i then started re-routing the rear electrics through the sills etc and have removed the ariel all together, still lots more to do but at least its progressing....

can anybody advise on how to remove the bottom half of the dashboard as i have never done this before....

The bottom half of the dash is a right pain. I cant tell you where all the screws are as there is so many of them. My little bit of advice is just look everywhere in all directions around the dash and you will find all the screws.

Neil, for removing the tar patches use a heat gun, 100 times easier.. And you end up with a better finish

to late for a heat gun...well kind of
all the main patches (ie in the footwells) came out with the chisel, the only ones left are the couple on the rear footwell uprights, the centre tunnel, inside the rear panels and on the roof....
