temerature display problem

On my temperature display it is saying 16c and does not change yet it is snowing and below zero here, i would have thought it may be the sensor but where is it located? or if someone knows it to be something else, help would be appreciated thanks

Sensor is underneath the passenger side mirroriirc, mine doesnt work either, hasnt gone below 8 degrees yet which is aload of bull!

The sensor is a wee loom that runs inside the passenger wing-mirror I had mine replaced when I bought the car it said 31c (Ireland...Decmeber...DOUBT IT)
