Engine - Had to prove that the engine was prior to 1999 to get it through the emissions test, luckily the garage drew us up an invoice to prove we had put an engine in it from a 218i Rover.
Chassis, had to be completely 'rubberised' to stop any cuts if you get run over.... Also had to fit seatbelts as the handbrake is under the dash. 9If you were wearing harnesses you couldn't reach.
Suspension and arches needed mod'd, Interior was needed, not just the poly seats. Horn, electics, fuel gauage and speedo. Bag tank was allowed in this case but a filler put on the rear. heated front screen.
Worth it? - Eeeek hope so! Now we're all chipping in to get her sprayed, carbon arches, comfier seats so mum'll go in it, carpets etc...
