Stop Light flashing on?

Hi, I've noticed a few times recently when i boot it that the stop light on the dash flashes on and off sometimes. Any ideas why? Should i get it checked out?

Low brake fluid levels, top them up. Should fix it then.

Or even your engine oil.

Thanks will check both the above. If it is either of the above i will not be impressed as was only serviced by Renault last week..........
