Stereo Just died :( - help me

Just gone round a tight corner at tight spped and the standard equip stereo turned it self off.

It works but only when i press the power button and i have to turn it off again once i switch the engine off.

Any body know what the problem is?

Sounds to me as you have a bad earth or something... and the corner moved disrupted it!

yes definately a dodgy earth of two speaker cables touching each other causing a short. Check all your connections including the ones on the back of the headunit. You should be able to find the source of your problem easily enough.
