I have 2002 172, after having major gearbox failure i swapped the engine for 2004 182.
It has just recently started to have starting issues. The car unlocks fine the imob light goes out fine go to turn and just click.
Nothing, Battery is pritty new in the car.
I dont think it's the TDC as it looks like it has the new style one.
If you get out open and lock the car and keep re-trying it fires straight up.
This will just happen once a week maybe.
I was thinking maybe the starter motor?
