hi just wondering if there is any1 with knowledge in starter motor reconditioning its for my cousin i was gettin his motor of tnite and not sure wots gonna be best
thinking repairkitssuk.co.uk seems like defo worth its 10-15
its a discovery td5 also
one thing i had noticed when i got it off tnite,the negative elec connection i got off fine but the plastic collar on the starter motor for it was a quarter turn loose into the starter motor causing it to come out of the motor when not turned tight,when its loose you can see 2 copper rods from the collar for the black soldered on but there suspiciously looking lke there should be 3 copper rods going maybe?
just spend a bit of time on google and thot ahaha cliosport mmmm wonder if any1 has been in abiout a starter motor before?
