Sreering wheel radio controls

Hey all..

Unfortunately when i bought my Clio 172 the steering wheel radio controls weren't working...

Can anyone tell me where the controller plugs into? Does it have an actual plug that plugs into the headunit? Ive taken apart the streeing column and unplugged the remote control unit and obviously theres a wire that runs into the dash.. I just cant seem to find the other end and how it connects to the radio?

Any help is hugely appreciated!

Connects to the back of the radio. If it isnt there thats probably why its not working, might have had an aftermarket stereo fitted at some point?

As above.

Mind, even with all the right cables my aftermarket HU get unreliable with the stalks.

If all the leads are present & correct, might be a new stalk needed?

I always found that using aftermarket adaptors made the controls slow to respond.

can't say I noticed that...

..actually I would have, the garage tore the OEM stuff out and fitted the Alpine for me before I collected it
