Signs of bad Coil Pack?

Hi Guys,

Could someone plesase tell me what are the signs of a bad coil pack?


Things i am suffering from is, struggling to start in the mornings sometimes and the other day the revs were going crazy, dropped to a point where almost cut out and then up to 3000rpm and then back down to be repeated a few times. After turning off the engine for 5 mins it sorted itself out.

Any help/Advice much appreciated.

When the engine gets warm, it will start spluttering and misfiring loads. Happened to me so I replaced it, was fine again for a while but then it happened again... changed my spark plugs and now it's spot on.
