Modelzone themselves have gone pop, their holding company Amerang have just been (like last Monday) bought out by Ripmax RC, but the stores weren't taken on.
A lot of the old Modelzone stock has been flooded out by the bank to regain some outstanding assets so they are out there somewhere.

I got a letter from the liquidations solicitor "Am I owned anything" to that affect, I was gonna reply and ask for stock of model cars lol. I haven't yet.

They mainly have stores in shopping centres. I can probably find out for you where the nearest one to you is but you'll have to wait till Monday when I'm back at work.

Seen this thread a couple of days ago and thought about starting a collection. Seems kinda cool. Then today I found an AG 200 in model zone for 11.99 but I'm new to it and most of the pictures on here the cars are on stands where as this one wasnt so I have not bought it yet. Looked good though.

MZ have probably unscrewed it from the stand for their display. If you ask them they'll put it on the stand & back in the box for you.

I test run a Horizon Hobby Miss Geico last week, for the price tag, was very disappointed.

I'm not really 'into' model cars, but I have a couple.

I have this BMW roadster model thing which I built with my dad when I was about 6 or 7 so is pretty cool. Nothing special by any means though.

Obviously its really old now so the paints worn, dusty as f*ck, has a crack in the windscreen, oh and the steering wheel used to move the wheels until I tried to give mad camber y0.

Also pretty detailed, even underneath! Can't really remember building it but I bet it was a pain in the arse!

And I have a couple of these speed freak type things which I was given for Christmas as a kid.

Love that red alfa you have 4th shelf down. looks like the 155? i cant see properly as on phone loved the 155 alfas!

Anyone looking at selling a silver ph2 172?

been hunting high and low and can't get my hands on one anywhere!
loads of vee's and flamers, few cups, but no silver ph2's!
