Servicing other than Renault...

... so I have to get my 182 serviced soon. I am VERY reluctant to take it back to Renault as last time their customer service was utter f**king b****cks. Frankly. PLus they also want £300 for this service... :S

Therefore I am gonna take it to K-Tec or Ren-Tech.

Before I do I want to know where I stand on warranty as I'm sure Renault will say this now voids the warranty but I'm sure that UK law says this is NOT legal and the warranty is still valid as long as you use a VAT registered garage?

Thoughts??

the warrenty is valid as long as geniue Reno parts are used and the garage is VAT registered.

Yep, vat registered and using genuine renault parts, correct oil etc....even renault dont do it right, I had 10w40 in last time. Not really a big deal , but there only guidelines state 5w40 i think.

IIRC, my 182 Cup cost £180 for the first service from a indepedant in town. Something worth considering come servicing time, and Ren Tech seem the way to go on servicing if reports on this forum are anything to go by.
