service light came on?

got in my car this morning and when i started it the service light came on and on the trip computer it flashed oil so i thought maybe it needed a top up? got to work turned the car off started it again and the same thing happend, but got in my car after work started it and it was all fine, no service light and its said oil ok? wats up with that?

Sometimes a loose conection under the drivers seat i think.

did you actually check the oil level with the dip stick? in my experience when it says oil ok it can be well below the min mark on the dipstick.

Does it have oil in it?

yeah sorry i forgot to say, i cheacked it when it first happend and it was fine?
