Service due message '06 Clio Dynamique 1.4 16v

  clio 1.4 dynamique 1
HI

Wondered if any one could help me get rid of this, I have carried out the service, but want to get rid of the message. It is keyless ignition and have tried numerous ways with the odometer switches to no avail. Will an OBD2 code reader allow me to switch it off?

ANy information, much appreciated.

Thanks
Cazgas

Popular misconception. It has nothing to do with an actual service as such. it means there is a fault somewhere in the system. it usually appears with another light.

No this is a written message saying that the service is due, it used to count the miles down, but have gone past them now. It is in the messages that you scroll through with the average mph, range and everything.

Scroll Through the menu till you get to oil service interval, hold the top button the wiper stalk until it bring up the new service interval..

Thats what my scanners says anyway

All i get when i scroll is the mileage, MPG, AV speed, range and fuel used, then back to SERVICE DUE, if i hold in the top button, it just goes back to tell me to Depress clutch or brake and start car.

Thanks for info anyway.
