Seriously sick of this now "video for laughs"

  2004 100bhp dci
Righty where to start... Oh yeah my car sucks ive owned it now for just over a week and its been working 2/3 of them days

i had it scanned and got these error codes

p0685 - ecm/pcm power relay open circuit
p0089 - fuel pressure reg
p0711 - crank/cam sensor

ive since brought a brand new crank sensor.. And still the car wont start but ive searched and theres no guides or options on how to fix the other 2 issues

i just want to have fun mod the car be part of the forum but at this rate the cars going to just be an expensive road block

When you say you've had it scanned, do you mean with the proper Renault Clip or just some generic code reader?

My advice would be to take it to one of the many (decent!!) specialists on here.

Where do you live?

Norwich??? Fcuk me.

I'd guess that Danny @ 519 automotive is your closest. He's in Bedford.

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
Sounds a lot like a relay not switching on an ECU function. Look for corrosion around the fuse box and on all the relay terminals. sometimes removing and re-fitting can be enough to change something so you know you're looking in the right place

Just take it to Renault instead of chucking money at it on stuff that wont fix in. Saves you the headache and its £72 to diagnose. If you go with the repair then that £72 is waved.

Checked all relays put them on a DMM and all had resistence so are working, taking it to renault is going to be like £500

9/10 fuel pressure regulator problem is injectors on a dci. Take it to a specialist and they will sort it

As already stated the relays try and replace the relays, I spent 100 of pounds on sensors and it turned out to be a 5 pound relay the ones infront of the battery just give them a wiggle then try replacing them with eachother I did this as one was getting two hot

Easystart , try get it going with that. ( awaits for someone on here to laugh at me like last time... )
Its helped me sort things out over the times

Or like in the PM, check the fuel filter, HP pump failure will show up in the filter
