how much is it as an option?

ide get one of the new TomTom Go units.. looks mint and u can add camera locations to it for free!!! (from a special website ) plus it will link up with your mobile and become your hands free kit! well worth it for under 500 notes!

Id go PDA with Tomtom over Tomtom Go due to the heat reflective screen.

u can get a gps arial thingy for it... wang it on your parcel shelf and hey presto u have GPS

there is me and at least one other person I know of factory colour sat nav in their 182s on here.

You should be able to get the dash top part I suppose. Afterall if I needed a new one they would have to be able to get one. Quite costly I would imagine. You mean for building your own system? Mike on here did that.

Suppose you could order all the seperate parts from renault and build your own system, if you dare. I wouldnt be able to do that, glad I ordered it now from factory just a shame I had to do without the spoiler pack as cant have both. Fantastic system, never let me down.Even for traffic alerts. Should be though at that price!

Think the dash part number is 77 01 059 772 231 £154 plus VAT.

yep, it was £1500 as an option. (I paid an extra £200 for a new map disc which allowed me to use the TMC traffic alert feature, the standard renault discs wernt allowing this at the time. I did manage to get the £200 reimbursed though

Im sure about the Clios but Ive heard that most of the Satnav systems sold built into cars are really out-of-date compared to other systems for PDAs, mobiles and standalone units such as the Tomtoms.

but they kept it running since early 172 MK2 days so must just have run out of parts and not bothered re stocking them as new clio coming out.
