right my laptop will not stay on the wireless all the time some times it works and goes off and if i reset the router some times it willcome back on ? and also some times my xbox lags but if i reset the router its not laggy any more is my router fucked ? or do i need another one that can flow faster

make sure firmware is upto date and drivers on pc are latest available

You possibly have a channel clash with a neighbour, download netstumbler to see what channels your neighbours are using then move yours as far away as possible.

Or make it select the least congested channel automatically.
