Nice. What's 'safe' with these engines when mapped?

I think the tried and tested route is de-cat, exhaust, FMIC, and injectors

That should see near 280bhp and 300 torque which I believe the torque has to be capped on standard internals for safety. I'm not 100% on this though and somebody may come along and correct my numbers! :tearsofjoy:

Great result at Surrey Rolling Road!

Considering the Megane (as far as I know) hasn't been mapped at least not under my ownership and since I fitted both the FMIC and de-cat it made a healthy 252bhp and 230 torque.

Charlie said it was fueling very well, better than some of the mapped cars!

Once I get the injectors fitted and an actual mapping session I'm sure both of those figures will improve considerably.

    Got to be mapped, surely?

Good figures and a really good base to start with though.

The thought had crossed my mind mate, but I can't prove it either way.

Regardless as you said its a great start, and should hopefully give some good results when I get it mapped next year.

If it was mapped or would make more torque. The lower inlet temps would aid top end power. When mine was fist mapped it had massive low down shove, then went into limp mode at the top end
