Like a cossie I would be standing looking at that clio, not in envy, but more like thinking what planet the guy who "played" with it is from. Honestly that has got to be the most untasteful looking clio I have seen. Its gotta be a wind up. He must be a real car enthusiast with the comments he has put on the ad.

Why are we even trying to justify this losers lies. For a start i doesnt even know what car he drives, has installed some kind of SLR/Crossfire/Porsche active rear spoiler, and sold a car witch (his spelling, not mine) which obviously has had over 15k invested in it for a little over a grand.

And if your going to compare cars, please keep it to Std Vs Std rather than my mates ***bhp metro would kill your **bhp ferrari

so.. erm.. if my mates scort cossie (standardo) can beat my other friends midly tuned ctr in every aspect.. and if the ctr is meant to pull away from a 172/182 cup etc after 60 .. then how is a clio meant to own a scort cossie up to a ton ?

but what i think the point is suppose to be is that a 180bhp clio (same power as mine coincidently) that weighs well under a ton will be hitting 100 in 14/15 secs which is faster than a standard cossie! (and a cup, and a type r )

Ill have to take your word cause Ive never been in a standard Cossie. Been in an Escort once and not really a hard driver so wouldnt have got the full feel.

Not that Im bothered mine does mid to low 14s standard I think so with the little bit extra Im running it should be pretty quick.

Going to the pod on the 10th, doubt Ill post a good time cause Ive never done it and not a fan of blazing off. Might let my mate have a crack at the whip though cause hes pretty good at it.

niiiiiiiiiiiiice! got to love the noris designs evo! was mint when i saw it run the 1/4 one weekend! missed 2nd gear and still run about 11 seconds 1/4!

i thought standard cossie pace was about 17 secs to 100. under 200bhp/ton i think but still awesome motors, and easily tuned to silly power!

According to Engine advantages I got 186bhp @ the wheels and 235 bhp (246 lbs ft torque) at the fly.

When I bought it BB got 202 bhp and 203 lb torque. Since then I turned the boost up a couple of PSi, nothing silly though. Cost be £34.50 for 33 bhp.

Also both times I was r/rd I had the blow off valve atmospheric when it HAS to be re-circ. My clutch slipped a bit when I made 235bhp as well.

I had a vid clip of that blue skyline doing a 10 sec qtr.

Had one once, cant remember if it was an RX7 or an early Evo but think it was either a late 7 or early 8 1/4.

Looked like this thing had been fired out of a cannon.

New Ferrari 460 has launch control as standard - how cool is that.

Just need another £100k + to get one.
